Student governments are, always and everywhere, kind of a joke. Even when, like Harvard's Undergraduate Council, they command an annual budget of over $200,000, the stakes are still pretty small, especially given the time commitment.
But when my boss at dorm crew - current UC president and upstanding young gentleman Matt Sundquist - encouraged me to run for a seat on the council, I thought about it for a second. And I made a website. The Wire fans among you should appreciate it.
Note to administrators: the site is a parody. I am not actually running for the UC. I do not now, nor have I ever, thought Thomas Carlyle was a baller.
Oh Dylan. We would totally have supported you! We would suggest 100-pound barbells and other appendages other than the fingers and toes. Try bamboo slivers shoved under their fingernails. It increases patriotism.
