This subtitle of an LA Times editorial is just embarrassing:

Why did it kidnap 15 British sailors, and how will it effect future relations with the rogue state?

Emphasis mine. I expect sloppiness like that in, say, a Matt Yglesias post. But in the LA Times? For shame.
