Best Apology Ever

The night that Rick Santorum was crushed by Bob Casey, some wire photographer snapped a picture of his daughter, in Amish-style clothing, crying. Julian Sanchez posted it at Hit and Run, adding that he hadn't "taken this much pleasure in the suffering of a small child in days." I thought it was hilarious. Conservatives, predictably, were horrified. Today, Julian responds in the best possible manner:

On reflection, this was a serious error in judgement. If I'd realized that so many people would get so bent out of shape over that one photo, I would not have made that post. I'd have photoshopped her into lesbian S&M porn instead.
